Sarah Burgon

Owner & Speech Pathologist

Sarah received her bachelorā€™s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Utah and her masterā€™s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 2005. Sarah has practiced as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of settings, including early intervention, outpatient pediatric clinic, preschools, inpatient and acute rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and public schools. She has also worked as an Autism Consultant in the schools.


Sarah believes communication is key to quality of life. Part of serving her clients is teaching, motivating, and helping them gain independence in their skills so they can live their lives to the fullest. Sarah's approach is to help children learn to communicate through play. Therapy should be an enjoyable experience that everyone is excited about!


Sarah specializes in treating children and adults with articulation disorders, feeding disorders, late talkers, autism spectrum disorder, and OMD (Orofacial Myofunctional disorders). Sarah has her Certification in Orofacial Myology (COM), is Hanen Certified and PROMPT trained. She is passionate about Orofacial Myofunctional therapy and the positive impact it has on breathing, feeding and speech skills, and overall quality of life.


In her free time, Sarah can be found spending time with her family, reading, camping and hiking in the beautiful PNW, and watching movies.
